Psychotherapy is an English word derived from Greek words pertaining to breath/spirit/soul and healing. At times, you might feel "soul sick" and need assistance making changes in your life to move toward health and contentment. At the most urgent, psychotherapy addresses problematic symptoms you experience and allows you to work successfully to remit them. More fully considered, psychotherapy provides a chance to foster the positive psychological capacities and resources that already reside within you and rally them to your side in your life's growth, development, and mission. Having a positive and corrective emotional experience in which you feel heard, understood, and accepted is a powerful agent of change. Other ways I describe areas in which I am experienced include:
